Educational estimates

TowReady provides general information and calculations based on the numbers you enter. It is not a weighbridge certificate, engineering assessment, legal advice or certification of safe or lawful towing. No result guarantees suitability for a particular journey.

Your measurements and ratings

Verify manufacturer limits, plate values and actual travel-ready weights. Use the lowest applicable vehicle, towbar, coupling and equipment ratings, including any manufacturer reductions or conditions. Check axle limits, GTM, tyres, brakes and applicable laws separately.

Calculator scope

The calculator checks whole trailer mass against ATM and entered tow rating; ball load against its entered limit; loaded vehicle plus ball load against GVM; and pre-hitch vehicle mass plus whole trailer mass against GCM. Payload is an optional arithmetic estimate using compatible empty-mass inputs. A near-limit warning at 5% remaining is a planning prompt, not a legal or manufacturer tolerance.
